- Honebami - Melee attacks deal blunt damage.
- Physical weaponskills using the Honebami still deal slashing damage.
- Melee attacks using swords of the Rapier type (i.e. Fleuret and Joyeuse) deal piercing damage.
- Physical weaponskills using these sword types still deal slashing damage.
- Weaponskills performed with the Murasamemaru Great Katana.
Mob Family Damage Relation
Weak to Slashing
Resistant to Slashing
Immune to Slashing
- Adamantshell - Appears on the 2nd floor of Southeast Apollyon
- Tieholtsodi - Appears on the 2nd floor of Southeast Apollyon
- Jailer of Temperance - Immune to slashing damage when it is closed up or when its bars are out.
- Energetic Eruca - Immune to slashing and blunt damage. However, due to being a sub-class of blunt damage, it is not immune to hand-to-hand damage.
Special Notes
- When used on Undead type mobs, the White Magic spell Banish reduces the damage resistance for melee attacks.
- The Warrior merit job ability Tomahawk will temporarily reduce all forms of damage resistance that a mob possesses.
