Historical Information
In ancient Greek mythology, ambrosia (Ancient Greek: ἀμβροσία) is sometimes the food, sometimes the drink, of the gods, often depicted as conferring ageless immortality upon whoever consumes it. It was brought to the gods in Olympus by doves (Odyssey xii.62), so may have been thought of in the Homeric tradition as a kind of divine exhalation of the Earth. The word as generally derived by Greeks, "a-" (not) and "mbrotos" (mortal), hence the food or drink of the immortals, has been found merely coincidental by modern linguists. It is often thought to be (or be derived from) honey, due to honey's supposed curative powers.
"Sanskrit's most ancient holy book, the Rig Vega, describes seven stars, seven concentric continents, and seven streams of soma, the drink of the gods." - The Mystical Number 7
Since the abjuration drops in Sky, it's fitting that the soup is meant for the gods.
