New Horizon specific camps are marked with .
Notes: Monsters on Horizon may have levels that differ from that of retail, be wary when using exp camp guides outside of this wiki as they may not be the same level. Era+ monsters that raise defense raise both P.Def and M.Def at start of the battle, and will lose their defenses if your party coordinates a skill chain + magic burst.
These camps are all aimed at 6 member parties. Please use the template below when adding in new camps and list it under the correct area/level range section (this is under construction).

La Theine Plateau

- Location: (H-12) by zone to Valkurm Dunes
- Notes: Worms do not aggro, unknown if Hares link, 1 orc spawn can also be used to fill chains. Hares should not be fought until at least level 12.
Level 14-18
- Target(s): Eikon Worm (19-23)
- Location: (G-6)
- Notes: Raises defense at start of fight. MP Burn recommended or Magic Burst required. Ghosts pop at night.
Ordelle's Caves
Level 12-14
- Target(s): Blood Bunnies (17-19)
- Location: (F-3) Map 1
- Notes: Can either sit in place or run up and down the tunnel
Korroloka Tunnel
Level 15-19
- Targets(s): Land Worm (20-25)
- Location: Zone Zeruhn Mines or Eastern Altepa Desert
Valkurm Dunes
Level 10-14
- Target(s): Hill Lizard (15-19)
- Location: (L-10), (K-9) Tunnel, (D-7), (E-7)
- Notes: Baleful Gaze petrifies the target if facing. If you are tanking make sure to fight unlocked so you can quickly turn.
Level 13-18
- Target(s): Snipper (18-22), Damselfly (20-23)
- Location: (H-9), (I-9), (E-9)
- Notes: Crabs are the main target at these camps.

- Location: (I-7) Signpost
- Notes: Experience drops at 17 but the amount of easily killable and accessible mobs makes up for it.
Level 16-20
- Target(s): Beach Pugil (23-26)
- Location: (H-9), (I-9), (E-9)
- Notes: A strong party composition is recommended when attempting these camps at level 16.
Pashhow Marshlands
Level 13-18
- Target(s): Gadfly (18-21), Marsh Funguar (21-25)
- Location: (G-9)
- Notes: Be wary of Funguars linking by sound
Level 15-18
- Target(s): Crawlers (20-23), Leeches (20-23), Marsh Funguars (21-25)
- Location: (F-5)
- Notes: Water elemental can sometimes spawn in the back, Marsh Funguars spawn in the road leading to the area, possibly extending this camp to 19 depending on kill speed
Rolanberry Fields

- Notes: Bees seem to use Pollen more often than others.

Buburimu Peninsula

- Location: (E-7) Behind Outpost, (E-9)
- Notes: If starting at 10, take care of the level of mob you pull. Try to avoid pulling 7 or more levels above your parties level.
Level 15-17

- Location: (G-6)
- Notes: Supports up to 2 parties.
Level 15-18
- Target(s): Carnivorous Crawler (20-23) , Bull Dhalmel (20-23), Goblin Leecher/Gambler/Mugger (22-25)
- Location: (J-6)/(J-7)
- Notes: Leecher's cast Cure 3, Silence recommended

Level 18-23
- Target(s): Snippers (24-26), Shoal Pugil (25-28)
- Location: (J-7) East Beach, (H-9) South Beach
- Notes: Watch for Bogy spawns at night. Both beaches have safe places to camp outside of blood aggro range.
Level 19-21

- Notes: Cape Dhalmels and Bull Dhalmels (20-23) will link, bind or sleep recommended
Meriphataud Mountains

- Notes: 2 goblins around, can be fought depending on party
Level 17-21
- Target(s): Boggart (22-25), Couerl (22-26), 3rd tier Goblins (21-25), Crane Fly (18-21)
- Location: (D-6) by Spine
- Notes: Crane Flies can help fill a chain if they're high enough level, but there are plenty of boggarts on both sides of the spine

- Notes: Blaster causes Paralyze, Paralyna recommended, supports 1-2 parties, Beware Drooling Hound (31-33) at night, it has AoE Disease
Sauromugue Champaign

- Notes: The weapons on Horizon here spawn as low as 34 (retail was 36). One weapon is also stuck in the spine, but can be hit by getting close to it.

- Notes: Potentially supports 2 parties at opposite ends of the cliff.

- Notes: Raises defense at start of fight. MP Burn recommended or Magic Burst required.
Yuhtunga Jungle

- Notes: Can also mix in Exorays(51-54) or other mobs in the area. Typically enough spawns for 2 parties, can camp at other entrances to room as well.
Level 45-48

- Notes: Dispel/Finale recommended.
Garliage Citadel
Level 45-51
- Target(s): Funnel Bats(53-55) and Chamber Beetles(56-58)
- Location: (G-6) or (J-8) Basement Map
- Notes: Funnel Bats initially, moving up to Chamber Beetles around level ~48. Supports 2 parties.
Yhoator Jungle
Level 42-46
- Target(s): Opotrap (Flytrap, 47-51), Snap Jaw (Pugil, 48-51)

- Notes: Defense boost untested

King Ranperre's Tomb

- Target(s): Thousand Eyes (Hecteyes, 60-62), Dire Bat (62-64)
- Location: Map 2 (G-8)
- Notes: Good alternative when bats or worms are full. One Dire Bat sits on camp, but theres a small room full of Thousand Eyes that do not link next to it.
Western Altepa Desert

- Target(s): Desert Gazer (Hecteyes, 56-59)
- Location: (E-9)
- Notes: Raises defense at start of fight, MP burn recommended or Magic Burst required. Piercing damage resistant.

- Notes: Defense boost possible, untested.

Gusgen Mines

- Notes: Camp is for MNK/PLD/WHM (Holy Party)
Level 21-28
- Target(s): Mauthe Doog (28-31), Wright (29-34), Wendigo (26-30), Banshee (31-34), Bogy (27-29), Ghast (30-34)
- Location: (G-7) Map 2 behind first center door on staircase, Gadfly/Bogy Room, Behind East Banshee Door.
- Notes: WHM Cure Burn party. WHM/NIN with Utsusemi recommended (if not able, Blink is required). Bring assistance for Raise and Viruna as the TP moves from Banshee really hurt and Rot Gas virus effect can last up to 5 minutes. Level sync 21-25 on Bogy Room and 26-29 behind the east Banshee door where no mobs spawn. Sneak is required to reach camp.
