Verification Needed

Assault is a Treasures of Aht Urhgan mission system in which small parties of mercenaries enter enemy strongholds to complete special objectives for the Empire of Aht Urhgan.

Assault missions are issued through the Commissions Agency in Aht Urhgan Whitegate. Players sign up for a mission, receive Assault Orders, travel to the appropriate Staging Point, and enter the Assault area through a Runic Seal.

Successful Assault missions award Assault Points, treasure from an Ancient Lockbox, and progress toward Mercenary Rank promotions.

Unlocking Assault

To participate in Assault, players must first become a mercenary for Salaheem's Sentinels.

Basic Flow

  1. Complete President Salaheem to join Salaheem's Sentinels.
  2. Speak with Rytaal in the Commissions Agency to receive an Imperial Army I.D. Tag.
  3. Speak with the appropriate Assault Mission Giver and select a mission.
  4. The Imperial Army I.D. Tag is exchanged for Assault Orders.
  5. Travel to the mission's Staging Point.
  6. Have one party member obtain an Assault Armband from the Immortal at the Staging Point.
  7. Examine the Runic Seal and begin the Assault.
  8. Complete the objective, open the Ancient Lockbox, and activate the Rune of Release to finish.

Imperial Army I.D. Tags

Imperial Army I.D. Tags are temporary key items used to sign up for Assault missions.

Detail Notes
Issued by Rytaal in the Commissions Agency.
Use Exchanged for Assault Orders when signing up for an Assault mission.

Assault Orders are received after signing up for a specific Assault mission.

Assault missions are grouped by Mercenary Rank. Higher ranks unlock additional missions and rewards.

Starting an Assault

After reaching the correct Staging Point, one party member must obtain an Assault Armband from the Immortal sentry inside the Staging Point.

The leader then examines the Runic Seal, selects the Assault settings, and begins the mission. Party members in the Staging Point with the correct orders are transported into the Assault area.

Completing Missions

An Assault mission is completed by fulfilling the mission objective and activating the Rune of Release.

When the objective is complete:

  • An Ancient Lockbox appears.
  • A Rune of Release appears.
  • The lockbox may contain treasure and unidentified items.
  • The Rune of Release ends the Assault and awards Assault Points.
  • Leaving an Assault clears the treasure pool, so treasure should be distributed before using the Rune of Release.
  • If a player disconnects before completion, they may fail to receive clear credit or rewards. Verification Needed

Assault Points

Assault Points are awarded when the Rune of Release is activated after a successful mission.

Assault Points are tracked separately for each Assault area.

Assault Point bonuses are multiplicative, not additive. Verification Needed

Death and Failure

  • Experience Points may be lost on death inside Assault areas. Verification Needed
  • After a full party wipe, the party may be removed from the Assault area after a short delay. Verification Needed
  • Homing fireflies may be used to abandon an Assault mission. Verification Needed
