Black Mages (BLM) bring tremendous firepower to the battlefield through their use of elemental and dark magics. Black mages also offer their party crowd control and utility options should they find themselves in a dicey situation or when it's time to return home after an adventure. In battle Black Mages are often called upon to magic burst, when their party members skillchain, finishing off adversaries with finesse. Skilled Black Mages may even accomplish magic bursting two spells off of one chain to add even more destructive power to a party's repertoire.
