Meriphataud Mountains

Description

Unrelenting dust storms and a severe climate make for a harsh environment that is inhabited by few. Castle Oztroja, the Yagudo stronghold, can be found here, and its guards relentlessly patrol the surrounding hills. Also present is the colossal structure known as Drogaroga's Spine, an enormous bone-shaped structure that spans the area from west to east, severing it in the middle. Drogaroga's Spine is believed by many denizens of Vana'diel to be the spine of the great dragon Drogaroga, a mythological being that existed at the beginning of the world.
