The category terminology is used for phrases and terms used by players of HorizonXI.

Term Description
2hr This refers to any jobs 2 hour ability.
Addon An addon if a feature of Ashita and as the name suggests, provides extra features that the base game does not. Eg. "TPParty" which shows the parties TP in the party menu.
Aggro Refers to when a player has been spotted by an enemy monster and it has become aggressive towards them.
AGI AGI is an acronmy that is short for Agility. This is a base player stat.
AH AH is an acronym commonly used to refer to the Auction House.
Alliance A standard party consists of up to 6 members. An alliance is when multiple parties join together. A alliance has a maximum of 3 parties.
BCNM BCNM is an acronym that is short for Burning Circle Notorious Monsters, which is one of the types of battlefield found in Vana'diel.
Chain This term usually refers to the experience chain activated when certain monsters are killed in quick succession. It may also be used to refer to Skillchains which is the effect triggered when two players use weapon skills in quick succession.
Chain Stun This is when a RDM/DRK uses their 2 hour ability Chainspell and cast the spell Stun repeatedly on a monster, preventing it from taking action. Typically used during dangerous moments of a fight eg. when a monster uses their own 2 hour ability.
CHR CHR is an acronym that is short for Charisma. This is a base player stat.
CP CP is an acronym commonly used to refer to Conquest Points.
D2 D2 is an acronym commonly used to refer to the Warp II spell, often used when asking for a Black Mage to warp you to your home point. The "D" is short for the Japanese word Dejyon, meaning "Warp".
Death Warp To intentionally allow a mob to kill the player in order for them to warp to their Home Point.
KSNM KSNM is an acronym that is short for Kindred Seal Notorious Monsters, which is one of the types of battlefield found in Vana'diel.
OP OP is an acronym commonly used to refer to Outposts. Can also be used to shorthand Outpost Warping.
TNL TNL is an acronym meaning "To Next Level" and is used to indicate how many remaining Experience Points are needed to gain the next level.
TP TP is an acronym commonly used to refer to teleporting, usually to Telepoints. For example, "Is anyone available for a tp?" This is not to be confused with Tactical Points.
